Privacy Policy

This site is designed to be simple and low-friction. We still want to be explicit about what data may be collected, why it may be collected, and how future monetization features would be disclosed.

Calculator Site publishes browser-based calculators for fees, payout estimates, and contractor rate planning. We do not ask you to create an account to use the core tools, and we do not intentionally collect more information than is needed to operate the site, understand aggregate usage, and review messages sent to the operator.

If we materially change how this site handles tracking, advertising, or user submissions, this page should be updated before those changes go live.

Cookies and local browser data

The calculators themselves work without a login, but the site may still use standard browser technologies such as cookies, local storage, or similar cache mechanisms for basic functionality, performance, security, and measurement.

If analytics, advertising, or consent tooling is added later, those tools may also set their own cookies or identifiers. We do not sell personal information simply because a cookie exists. The practical use here is usually limited to things like measuring page visits, understanding which calculators are used, or remembering consent choices.

Analytics

We may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand high-level site usage, such as which calculator pages are visited, how often pages are loaded, what devices or browsers are commonly used, and whether traffic comes from search, direct visits, or referrals.

Analytics data is used to improve the site, prioritize updates, and identify broken or underperforming pages. We are not using calculator inputs to build personal profiles. Where possible, we prefer aggregated reporting over user-level tracking.

Affiliate Disclosure

Some recommendation blocks on this site are reserved for tools that fit the page topic, such as seller software, bookkeeping products, invoicing tools, or shipping services. Those placements are treated as commercial recommendation slots, so the links use sponsored/nofollow attributes by policy. If affiliate or sponsor tracking is added to a slot, we may earn a commission when someone signs up or makes a purchase through the link, at no extra cost to that visitor.

We do not want the recommendation label to be ambiguous, so calculator pages are expected to show a visible disclosure directly inside or next to the CTA block instead of hiding that notice only in the footer.

A recommendation appearing on the site does not mean the operator is claiming an exclusive partnership, guaranteeing results, or promising that a tool is the cheapest or best choice for every business. Readers should still evaluate fit, pricing, and terms independently.

Future ads and AdSense

The site may add display advertising in the future, including Google AdSense or similar networks, after launch requirements are met. If that happens, ad providers may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies to serve, measure, and report on ads.

Ads should not be inserted into the calculator input area in a way that interrupts the core tool. If ad technology is enabled later, this privacy policy and any required consent controls should be updated first.

Contact submissions

If you contact the site operator, any information you include in that message may be stored long enough to review the request, reply, investigate a reported issue, or keep a basic editorial record. That can include your name, email address, the content of your message, and any details you choose to share.

Please do not send sensitive financial, tax, medical, or account credentials through a contact form or email. This site is informational software, not a secure client portal.

Third-party links and updates

Many pages link to official pricing documents, help centers, or external tools. Once you leave this site, the privacy practices of that third party control your visit there.

Questions about this policy should be routed through the current contact method listed on the Contact page. If the deployment adds a public inbox or form later, that page should be updated in parallel with this policy.
