Fee Notes

How Stripe fees apply

Stripe's pricing page lists 2.9% plus $0.30 per successful transaction for domestic cards processed online. This calculator uses that as the default baseline.

Stripe also lists a 0.5% add-on for manually entered cards and a 1.5% add-on for international cards. You can enable either or both optional toggles when those cases apply.

Stripe's pricing page also mentions a separate currency conversion fee. That fee is not included here, so use this page for card-processing estimates rather than every possible Stripe charge.

How To Use

How to use this calculator

  1. Enter the item amount in Sale price and keep any buyer-paid shipping in the separate shipping field so the order total is modeled once, not twice.
  2. Leave the optional toggles off for a standard domestic online card transaction.
  3. Turn on the manual-entry or international-card toggles only when those specific Stripe pricing add-ons apply to the payment you are estimating.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does this Stripe calculator use the standard online card rate?

Yes. The default fee on this page is Stripe's published standard rate for domestic online cards: 2.9% plus $0.30 per successful transaction.

Can the manual-entry and international-card fees apply together?

Yes. Stripe lists those as separate pricing add-ons, so this calculator lets you enable both when a transaction is both manually entered and international.

What Stripe charges are not included here?

This page is intentionally narrow. It does not model currency conversion, disputes, refunds, invoicing products, subscriptions, or local in-person pricing tiers.
